Are db killers removable? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fixture is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU guidelines; this is only possible for RACING use on circuits. Using the open version on the road does not comply with public road regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check in advance whether the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with public road regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Recommendations for installation: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in the event of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions, each silencer carries the approval code. If problems are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the bike is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or watch the visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the bike as if on the track only, without a bag, without a flashlight, and no number plate holder or other parts that would interfere with the altered gas angle due to the conversion to the racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer instead of the one being repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
