Removable db killers? Altering db killer welds or tamper-proof screws or removing the mounting is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU regulations, this is only possible for RACING use on tracks; using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check beforehand if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with public road regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, as well as installation instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. If any issues arise during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the motorcycle as on the track only, without a bag, flashlight, number plate holder, or any other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the conversion to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty. Starting from the purchase, with the right to repair returned to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one that needs repairing; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
