Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or the anti-tamper screws or removing the fitting is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU guidelines; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on the road does not comply with public road regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road regulations and to perform the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, as well as installation instructions; each silencer carries the approval code. In case of issues encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or watch the available tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for race use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as if on the track only, without luggage, flashlight, number plate holder or other parts that would interfere with the different gas angle due to the change to race version. Abusing this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty. From the date of purchase, customers have the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at their expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer instead of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reattach the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
