Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the mounting is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU directives, this is only allowed for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or the GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to perform the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
A specific approval certificate is provided, as well as mounting instructions, each silencer carries the approval code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it restricted to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or view tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without a backpack, without a flashlight, and without a license plate holder or any other parts that would interfere with the different gas angle due to the transformation to race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will lead to loss of the product warranty. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for repair.
