Removable dbkillers? Altering the dbkiller welds or tamper-proof screws or removing the fastening is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU regulations; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have the products installed in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with the mounting instructions; each silencer bears the approval code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is required only for local residents and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available on YouTube.
The exhaust comes with a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for race use; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as if on the track only, without luggage, without flashlight, and license plate support or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the conversion to race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for the repair.
