Are removable dbkillers allowed? Altering dbkiller welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the mount is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU regulations, this is only possible for RACING use on tracks; using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in the case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, as well as mounting instructions, each silencer carries the approval code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is required only for local citizens and not for tourists.
You can also install with side bags. No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible online and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for racing use, removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on a track only, without bags, without a flashlight and without a license plate holder or any other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle as a result of the conversion to a racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty, and any claims will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair through GPR's factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reattach the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
