Are removable db killers allowed? Altering db killer welds or anti-tampering screws or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU directives; this is only permissible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road does not comply with public road regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check beforehand if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and for the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with assembly instructions; each muffler carries the homologation code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible on and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the motorcycle as on the track only, without a bag, without a flashlight, and without a license plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the transformation into the racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty, and any claim will be rejected. From the date of purchase, the right to repair with return to GPR factory or the nearest official distributor is at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new muffler in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
