Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the bracket is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU regulations; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with the public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer must check in advance whether the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Assembly recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop, and no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, as well as the installation instructions; each silencer has the homologation code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local residents and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the motorcycle is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as if on the track only, without saddlebags, without flashlights and number plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the changed gas angle due to the transformation to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in a loss of the product warranty. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair and return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must accept reinstalling the original exhaust or waiting the standard time for the repair.
