Are db killers removable? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tampering screws, or removing the fixture is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU guidelines; this is only possible for RACING use on track, using the open version on road does not comply with the public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check in advance whether the presence of the original catalyst or the GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with the road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products at a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with the installation instructions, each silencer bears the approval code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the bike is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or view the tutorials available online and on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use, removing the db killer is NOT ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as if on a track only, without bags, without flashlight and number plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the transformation to a racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty and any claim will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair and return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired, the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
