Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or the anti-tamper screws or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU directives, this is only possible for RACING use on the circuits; using the open version on the road is not compliant with the traffic regulations on public roads.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer must check in advance whether having the original catalyst or the GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and for annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Recommendations for installation: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with the installation instructions; each silencer bears the homologation code. If problems occur during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the motorcycle is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available on YouTube.
The exhaust comes with a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as if on the track only, without luggage, without a flashlight and license plate holder, or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the transformation into race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty. From the time of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer to replace the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for repair.
