Are the db killers removable? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU regulations, this is only permitted for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is noise-approved, the customer must check in advance whether the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with public road regulations and for annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer carries the approval code. In case of issues encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity and immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens, not for tourists.
No structural modification of the bike is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible on and on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for track use; removing the db killer is not only illegal but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as on the track only, without bags, without flashlight, and number plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle after transforming into a racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty, and any warranty claims will be rejected. From the date of purchase, there is a right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for the repair.
