Are the dbkillers removable? Altering the dbkiller welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the mount is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU guidelines, this is only possible for RACING use on tracks; using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check in advance if the presence of the factory catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and for the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided along with installation instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. If any issues arise during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local residents and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available online and on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as if on a track only, without luggage, without a flashlight and license plate holder or any other parts that may conflict with the different angle of the gas after conversion to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty and any claims will be rejected. From the time of purchase, with the right to repair with return to GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one being repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
