Are db killers removable? Altering db killer welds or tamper-proof screws, or removing the fixture is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU guidelines, this is only possible for RACING use on tracks; using the open version on the road is not in accordance with public road regulations.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, as well as the installation instructions, each silencer carries the approval code. If issues arise during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or to check visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for race use; removing the db killer is not only illegal but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without a bag, torch, or license plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the conversion to racing version. Abuse of this situation on road will result in loss of product warranty. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair at the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
