Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU directives; this is only possible for RACING use on circuits, and using the open version on the road is not in compliance with public road regulations.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have them installed at a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with the installation instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. If any problems are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
This is designed to be fitted in a high-level position. No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or view tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as if on the track only, without a bag, without a flashlight, and without a number plate holder or other parts that may conflict with the different gas angle due to conversion to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty. From the time of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the client's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer as a replacement for the one in need of repair; the customer must accept to refit the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repairs.
