Removable dbkillers? Altering the dbkiller welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the bracket is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU regulations; this is only allowed for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on public roads is not compliant with road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is certified for noise, the customer must check in advance whether the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with mounting instructions; each silencer bears the approval code. If any issues are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
It is designed to be mounted in a high-level position. No structural modifications of the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or view the tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without bags, without a flashlight, and no license plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the transformation into racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will lead to loss of product warranty. From the purchase date, the right to repair applies with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer’s expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to re-mount the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for repair.
