Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper bolts or removing the mount is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU directives; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road does not comply with public road regulations.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have products installed in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with assembly instructions; each silencer carries the approval code. If any problems occur during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications of the motorcycle are required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or check tutorials available on Youtube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle solely on the track, without luggage, without a flashlight and number plate holder or any other parts that would interfere with the different gas angle following the transformation into racing version. Misusing this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one being repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
