Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tampering screws or removing the fastening is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU directives; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on the road is not in compliance with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer must check in advance whether the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have the products installed in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with the mounting instructions, each silencer bears the approval code. In the event of issues encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for race use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the motorcycle as if on the track only, without bags, without flashlight, and number plate holder or other parts that may conflict with the different gas angle due to the transformation into race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty. From the date of purchase, with repair rights assigned to GPR or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one being repaired, the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
