Removable dbkillers? Altering the dbkiller welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the mount is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU directives; this is only allowed for RACING use on tracks; using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is homologated for noise, and the customer must check in advance whether the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have the products installed in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer has the homologation code. In case of issues during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local residents and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for racing; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the motorcycle as if on the track only, without saddlebags, without flashlights and number plate holders or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to conversion to race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will lead to loss of product warranty. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reattach the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for repairs.
