Are db killers removable? Altering db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU regulations, this is only possible for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must verify beforehand if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with public road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have the products installed in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with installation instructions, each silencer carries the approval code. In case of issues encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the bike is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for race use, removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as on the track only, without bags, without flashlight and license plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different angle of the throttle due to the conversion to race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair through return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one being repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
