Removable dbkillers? Altering the dbkiller welds or the anti-tampering screws or removing the fixing is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU guidelines, this is only possible for RACING use on tracks; using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or the GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and for the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions, each silencer bears the homologation code. In the event of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications of the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for use in racing; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without bags, without flashlight and without number plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different angle of the gas due to the transformation to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will lead to the loss of the product warranty. From the date of purchase, it comes with repair rights with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer to replace the one to be repaired, the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
