Are dbkillers removable? Altering the dbkiller welds or tamper-proof screws or removing the fixture is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU regulations; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on the road does not comply with public road regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or the GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with traffic regulations on the public road network and for annual inspections.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer bears the approval code. If problems arise during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local residents and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible on and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without saddlebag, without flashlight, and registration plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different angle of gases due to the transformation into racing version. Misuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty and any request for refund will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
