Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws, or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU guidelines; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. The open version is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or the GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop. No claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with assembly instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. If problems are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity to promptly request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is NOT ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as if it were on the track only, without saddlebags, flashlights, license plate holder, or any other parts that might interfere with the different gas angle following the transformation to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product's warranty. Starting from the purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must accept reinstalling the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
