Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper bolts or removing the mount is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU guidelines; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on roads does not comply with public road regulations.
WARNING: this item is noise approved, the customer must check in advance whether the presence of the original catalyst or the GPR catalyst is needed in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, as well as mounting instructions; each silencer bears the homologation code. In case of problems during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or watch tutorials available on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the bike as on the track only, without bags, without torch or number plate holder, or any other parts that might interfere with the different gas angle due to the conversion to racing version. Abusing this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair returned to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer’s expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer instead of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
