Are dbkillers removable? Altering the dbkiller welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fitting is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU guidelines, this is only possible for RACING use on circuits, the open version is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or the GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with traffic regulations on public roads and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions, each silencer carries the homologation code. If any issues are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit only applies to local residents and not to tourists.
No structural modification of the motorcycle is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available on and on youtube.
The exhaust comes with a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for racing use, removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as on the track only, without a bag, without a flashlight and number plate holder or other parts that may conflict with the different gas angle due to the conversion to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty and any claim will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer’s expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired, the customer must agree to reattach the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for repair.
