Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or the anti-tamper screws or removing the fixture is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU regulations; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks; using the open version on the road does not comply with public road regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must verify beforehand whether the presence of the original catalyst or the GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with public road regulations and for the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with the mounting instructions; each silencer carries the approval code. In case of problems during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the bike as on the track only, without luggage, flashlight, number plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle following the conversion to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in voiding the product warranty. From the date of purchase, with the right of repair, with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for repair.
