Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or the anti-theft screws or removing the fitting is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU directives; it is only possible for RACING use on the tracks. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is noise approved; the customer must check beforehand if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with public road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it's still recommended to have the products installed in a professional workshop. No claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with assembly instructions; each silencer carries the approval code. In case of any problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is advised to read the instructions in the package or view tutorials available on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for track use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as if on the track only, without a bag, flashlight, and license plate holder or any other parts that may interfere with the different gas angle after the conversion to race version. Misusing this situation on the road will result in losing the product warranty. From the time of purchase, with the right to repair returned to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one being repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
