Removable db killers? Altering db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fastening is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU regulations; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to perform the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have them installed in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with mounting instructions; each silencer carries the approval code. If problems are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens, not for tourists.
No structural modification of the motorcycle is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the motorcycle as on the track only, without bags, without a flashlight, and without number plate holder or other parts that conflict with the different gas angle due to the conversion to race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty. From the date of purchase, the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor is at the customer’s expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer to replace the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to remount the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for the repair.
