Are db killers and catalytic converters removable? Altering the welds on the db killer and the catalyst or tamper-proof screws or removing the fixing is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU directives; this is only possible for RACING use on circuits. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road regulations.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, as well as the installation instructions; each silencer bears the approval code. If problems are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.

No structural modification of the motorcycle is needed for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as if it were on the track only, without bags, without flashlight and license plate holder or any other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle following the transformation into the racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty. Starting from the purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to remount the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
