Are db killers removable? Altering db killer welds or tamper-proof screws or removing the mount is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU guidelines; it is only permitted for RACING use on circuits. Using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is noise-approved; the customer must verify in advance whether the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You may use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in the case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with installation instructions, and each silencer carries the approval code. If issues are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
2in1 SX. No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or watch tutorials available online and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as on the track only, without a bag, torch, or license plate holder, or any other parts that would interfere with the different gas angle due to the conversion to the racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty, and any claim will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to remount the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
