Removable db killers? Altering db killer welds or anti-tamper screws, or removing the mounting is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU guidelines; this is only permitted for RACING use on tracks, and using the open version on the road does not comply with road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with mounting instructions, each silencer carries the approval code. In case of issues during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible on and on youtube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the motorcycle as if on a track only, without luggage, no flashlight, and no license plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle following the conversion to race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty, and any claims will be rejected. From the purchase date, there is a right to repair with returns to GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer’s expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer instead of the one needing repair; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
