Are db killers and catalytic converters removable? Altering the welds on the db killer and the catalyst or the anti-theft screws, or removing the fastener is illegal for road use and not in compliance with EU directives; this is only allowed for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road regulations.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer carries the approval code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.

Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
Original rear footrest cannot be used. No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or tutorials available on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for race use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without luggage, flashlight, or number plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the transformation to race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty. From the date of purchase, with rights to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer instead of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
