Are the db killers removable? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the mount is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU directives; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks, the use of the open version on the road does not comply with road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is needed in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and for the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with mounting instructions; each silencer bears the homologation code. If any issues are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95dB for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is required only for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the motorcycle as if on the track only, without luggage, flashlight, or number plate holder or any other parts that would interfere with the different throttle angle due to the conversion to racing version. Misusing this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty. From the time of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer to replace the one being repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
