Are db killers removable? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the mount is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU regulations, this is only possible for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is noise approved, the customer must check beforehand if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and for annual inspections.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted in the event of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with the assembly instructions, each silencer carries the homologation code. In case of issues encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local residents and not for tourists.
Type "E" reduced power. No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use, removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the motorcycle as on the track only, without luggage, without flashlight and license plate holder or any parts that may conflict with the different gas angle due to the transformation into racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty. From the time of purchase, with the right to repair with return to GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer to replace the one for repair, the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
