Original GPR product, developed through extensive experience in the World Motorcycle Championship, offers innovative design, improved performance, significant weight savings, and enhanced sound from the bike.
Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the mounting is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU directives; this is only permissible for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on the road does not conform to the regulations for traffic on public roads.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer should verify in advance whether the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with traffic regulations and to conduct the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer has the homologation code. In case of issues encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is required only for local citizens and not for tourists.
Type "E" reduced power. No structural modification of the bike is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for use on the track; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the bike as if on the track only, without saddlebags, without flashlight and license plate holder or any other parts that could interfere with the different gas angle due to the conversion to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will void the product warranty. From the time of purchase, there is a right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to refit the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for repair.
