Is the Dbkiller removable? Altering the dbkiller and associated safety welds/screws violates the product compliance and makes it illegal for road use.

Are dbkillers removable? Altering the dbkiller welds or tamper-proof screws or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU guidelines; this is only possible for RACING use on circuits. Using the open version on the road is not in line with public road regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop. No claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with mounting instructions; each silencer bears the homologation code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or watch tutorials available on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on track only, without saddlebags, without a flashlight and license plate holder, or any parts that would conflict with the gas angle due to the transformation into a racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer’s expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repairs.
