Are removable Dbkillers allowed? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU directives, this is only possible for RACING use on circuits; using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check in advance whether the presence of the original catalyst or the GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with public road regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Assembly recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have the products installed in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of improper installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with assembly instructions; each silencer carries the approval code. If any problems occur during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible on and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the motorcycle as on the track only, without saddlebags, without flashlight and license plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different angle of the gas due to the conversion to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty, and any claim will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer as a replacement for the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
