Removable dbkillers? Altering the dbkiller welds or anti-tamper screws, or removing the bracket is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU regulations; this is only possible for RACING use on circuits, using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road regulations.
WARNING: this item is homologated for noise, the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or the GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to perform the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have them installed at a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in the case of incorrect installations.
A specific homologation certificate is provided, along with mounting instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is this limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the motorcycle is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available on and on youtube.
The exhaust has a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for race use; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the motorcycle as if on the track only, without panniers, without lights, and without a license plate holder or other parts that may conflict with the different gas angle due to conversion to race version. Misuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty and any claims will be denied. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one being repaired; the customer must agree to refit the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
