Removable dbkillers? Altering the dbkiller welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fixture is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU directives, this is only possible for RACING use on the tracks; using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check beforehand if the presence of the original catalyst or the GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and for the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided along with the installation instructions; each silencer bears the homologation code. In case of issues encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the work, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is required only for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the motorcycle is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible on and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without a bag, without a flashlight, and without the license plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the altered angle of the gas due to the conversion to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty, and any claims will be denied. From the time of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to refit the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
