Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tampering screws or removing the fixing is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU guidelines; this is only possible for RACING use on circuits. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road regulations.
WARNING: this item is noise approved; the customer must check whether the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with public road regulations and to undergo the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer bears the homologation code. If problems are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit only applies to local citizens and not to tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not only illegal but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the bike as if on the track only, without a bag, flashlight, or number plate holder, or any other parts that would conflict with the different angle of the gas due to the transformation into racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty. From the date of purchase, the right to repair is granted with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to remount the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
