Silencer with oval shape
Tip colour: Matt Black
Exhaust silencer, approved, installation with specific flange (bolt-on), with removable db killer.
Furore Poppy series silencer, developed to have zero impact as pollution during the production process, with an oval shape diameter of 120mm, made with a stainless steel body with a carbon look and Avional ends obtained by CNC machining.
Mounting kit: This silencer is from the Bolt-on series, it does not need a connector, it can be installed directly onto the original collector using the supplied bolts and the relevant fascia/support kit.
Original GPR product, developed through extensive experience in the World Motorcycle Championship, offers an innovative design, a performance increase, a significant weight saving and an improvement in the sound of the bike.
Are db killers removable? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fitting is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU directives; this is only possible for RACING use on circuits. Using the open version on the road does not comply with the regulations for public road use.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is nonetheless recommended to install them in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with the installation instructions; each silencer bears the homologation code. In case of issues during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the bike as on the track only, without panniers, without flashlight, and without license plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the altered gas angle due to the conversion to racing version. Misuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to GPR factory or to the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of a defective one; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
