With the US-Drypack Hook Strap Set, upgrade the alloy hooks for the US-10 and US-20 backpacks (before 2012) or the replacement fitting set for the US-10, US-20, and US-30 Drypacks.

The US-5 bags require a different mounting kit.

Hook

Upgrade the alloy hook straps for the older US-10 and 20 packs (standard on products post 2012). The extremely secure sub-frame fitting kit allows for backpack combinations up to 90 litres. The mounting straps have been designed to fit virtually all styles of motorcycles. Particularly suited for traditional monoblock seats or bolted seat pads/supports.

Fitting

Note: some motorcycles already have Web loops attached to the seat pad/base. In this case, we still recommend mounting the Kriega loops, as the fitting on the sub-frame is much stronger than on the seat. Remove the seat from the motorcycle and locate the best mounting areas on the rear sub-frame. It may be necessary to split the internal plastic plate if no metal components of the sub-frame are exposed. Securely attach the 4 x 20 mm strap loops to the high-strength areas of the frame. The 20 mm loops are adjustable in length. Final adjustments should be made with the seat/pad installed. Once set, the strap should be threaded into the adjusting device to lock the strap. To attach the American bag, hook the Web loop, attach the upper quick release loop, and attach the bag to the bike. Always use the 2 retaining straps on the Web to manage the loose ends. Please also ensure that the quick release loops are properly clicked in.
