Recycled cotton / recycled polyester. Extra-large shopping bag with handles made from the same fabric as the bag. This bag is part of the "K-loop" project. With this project, Kimood closes the loop of the circular economy in the strict sense. The cotton used comes from the manufacturing waste of the brand's cotton products Kariban, and from the KARIBAN BRANDS range. The polyester added is derived from the recycling of PET plastic bottles. Durant the recycling process, tracers are added to the yarn, namely viscose and ceramic filaments that act as a unique digitalempreinte. The tracers reflect light in a unique way, and therefore carry a unique and inviolable code. This enables us to store all the information on the processes to which the thread has been uniquely subjected in a blockchain. Thanks to Aware™ tracer technology and the corresponding blockchain platform, Kimood enables the end consumer to track the entire production process. This guarantees that the product has indeed been recycled using its own waste, with no possible alterations to the process. A special label with a QR code enables access to the Aware™ platform and direct authentication of certifications via a simple smartphone.
