Are dbkillers removable? Altering dbkiller welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU directives, this is only permitted for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on the road is not in accordance with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is noise approved, the customer must first check whether the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted in the event of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with assembly instructions, each silencer carries the homologation code. In case of issues encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend operations, and immediately seek advice and/or information from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the bike is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible on and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use, removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as on the track only, without a bag, without a flashlight and license plate holder or any other parts that could interfere with the different gas angle due to the conversion to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will lead to the loss of product warranty and any claim will be denied. From the time of purchase, with the right to repair returned to GPR or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired, the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
