Are dbkillers removable? Altering the dbkiller welds or anti-theft screws or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU regulations, this is only possible for RACING use on circuits, using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is noise approved, the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with public road traffic regulations and for the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Recommendations for installation: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have the products installed in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with mounting instructions, each silencer carries the approval code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the bike is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible on and on youtube.
The exhaust features a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for racing use, removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as if on a track only, without any bag, flashlight, license plate holder, or any other parts that would interfere with the different gas angle due to the transformation to a racing version. Misuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty and any warranty claims will be denied. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired, the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for the repair.
