Are db killers and catalytic converters removable? Altering the welds on the db killer and the catalyst or the anti-tamper screws, or removing the fastening is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU directives; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road does not comply with public road regulations.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with the installation instructions; each muffler bears the homologation code. If issues arise during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.

The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for race use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as if on the track only, without saddle, flashlight, license plate holder, or any other parts that might conflict with the gas angle due to the change to race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will lead to the loss of the product warranty. From the time of purchase, with the right to repair, with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new muffler in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to refit the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
