Is the db killer removable? Altering the db killer and the associated security welds/bolts violates the product's compliance, making it illegal for road use.

Are db killers removable? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the mounting is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU directives; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.

You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it's still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer bears the approval code. In case of problems during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as on the track only, without pannier, flashlight and licence plate holder or other parts which may conflict with the altered gas angle due to the transformation into racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty. This is effective from the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or to the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer to replace the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
