Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or tamper-resistant screws or removing the fixings is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU regulations; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks; using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer must check beforehand if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with traffic regulations on the road network and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop. No claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
A specific approval certificate is provided, along with mounting instructions; each silencer carries the approval code. If any problems occur during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is required only for local citizens and not for tourists.
High version, includes fairing cover, necessary rear footpeg wire. No structural modifications of the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available online and on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the bike as on the track only, without luggage, without flashlight, and without license plate holder or any other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle resulting from the transformation into racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty, and any warranty claims will be rejected. This is from the date of purchase, with the right to repair to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer to replace the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reattach the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for the repair.
