Are db killers removable? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper bolts or removing the fitting is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU regulations; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks; using the open version on the road does not comply with public road regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer must check in advance whether the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with public road regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in cases of incorrect installations.
A specific approval certificate is provided, as well as mounting instructions; each silencer bears the approval code. In case of problems during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately ask for information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.

The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as on the track only, without a bag, flashlight and license plate holder or other parts that would interfere with the different angle of the gas due to the transformation into racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty, and any claim will be rejected. From the purchase date, with the right to repair with return to GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
