Are db killers and catalytic converters removable? Altering the welds on the db killer and the catalyst or the anti-tamper screws or removing the mounting is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU directives; this is only permitted for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road does not comply with public road regulations.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it's still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer bears the homologation code. In case of issues during installation, it's mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and seek immediate information and/or advice from customer service.

The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as if on the track only, without luggage, without flashlight and license plate holder or any other parts that would interfere with the different gas angle due to the transformation into racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty, and any claim will be rejected. From the time of purchase, with the right to repair through return to the GPR factory or the nearest authorized distributor at the customer’s expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one that needs repair; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
