Are removable db killers allowed? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fittings is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU regulations; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks, and the use of the open version on roads does not comply with public road regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer must check in advance whether the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road regulation and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided along with the mounting instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. In case of issues encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
Original cut version. No structural modification of the bike is required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available online and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not only illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as on the track only, without a bag, without a flashlight, and license plate holder or any other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle following the conversion to the race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty, and any request for return will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with repair rights with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to remount the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for repair.
